The Acropolis, located in Athens, is the best acropolis in the whole world. Its significance lies in the fact that the monument is known as The Acropolis without any qualification. It was formally proclaimed on 26 March 2007 as the most pre-eminent monument on the list of European Cultural Heritage monuments. The Acropolis of Athens rises 490 ft above the sea level and is basically a flat-topped rock. It is also known by the name Cecropia after the legendary serpent man, Cecrops, who was the first Athenian King.

This famous artwork has been pained on the Alter walls of the Sistine Chapel. This artwork was finally commissioned by the Pope Clement VII. Sistine Chapel is basically the mural of the Last Judgement incited by Michelangelo.
The Sistine Chapel is not only the artwork of Michelangelo, but it is basically the collective art of some of the great Italian painters. It was a result of the initiative taken by the Pope Sixtus IV Dell Rovera, who decided to renovate the Capella Mana. Due to this, some of the greatest painters of the time laboured to drape the whole walls with different paintings. In August 1483, Michelangelo took the responsibility of creating the paintings in the Capella.

The Alhambra, Red Castle of Spain, was a palace, fortress and small city. It continues to be one of the top tourist destinations in Spain and the count of its visitor remains consistent on a regular basis.
Alhambra is an Arabic word, which means ‘red castle’. Constructed primarily for military purposes, it was a palace, a fortress and also a small city. Until the 13 century, it was not home to any king. The construction of the palace is basically the work of two of the greatest kings of their times-Yosuf I and Mohammed V.
